iLEAD Hybrid 6th-8th Grade Ballroom Class Begins September 25
If you can count to eight, move to the rhythm, and turn in a circle, you’ve got everything it takes to hit the dance floor!
This March, 4th-8th graders from iLEAD Hybrid at the Acton Studio will step out to represent our school’s talent, kindness, and character at the Antelope Valley Youth Ballroom Dance Competition. To prepare, we are launching a weekly workshop designed to build confidence, teach social etiquette, and master fun line dances and classic ballroom styles—all in a supportive, high-energy environment.
Led by Mrs. Yockey, who has been coaching youth ballroom teams since 2015, this program is open to dancers of all skill levels.
Workshop Details
- When: Fridays, 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM
- Where: The Studio
- Focus: Line dancing, ballroom basics, rhythm, and character building
This Friday, September 25, we will welcome 6th-8th graders for their first class. Our 4th-5th graders will begin the following week, October 2.
No prior experience is needed. Just bring your energy and enthusiasm!
