Supporting Your Child’s Reading Growth with Amira Learning: K-2 Screener Dates Inside

Dear Families,

In alignment with state requirements, we will administer the California Reading Difficulties Screener for learners in 1st-2nd grade between September 8 and September 30. Kindergartners will be screened in Semester 2. To prepare our growing readers, iLEAD Hybrid at the Acton Studio has partnered with Amira Learning to assess reading mastery and coach learners through new reading skills. 

At iLEAD Hybrid at the Acton Studio, we support the whole child and nurture a love of learning through personalized, project-based, and social-emotional approaches. We see each learner as a unique individual, and we value your role as an essential partner in this journey. 

If you would prefer that your child not participate in the California Reading Difficulties Screener, please email me at terri.budke@ileadexploration.org by September 4, 2026, and an alternative phonics assessment will be given.
